A recent article from Kristy Eppley Rupon of the McClatchy-Tribune News Service headlined: “Investors put money into homes rather than stocks”, recycling the old adage that real estate – particularly luxury homes – is the only sure way not to go wrong in investments. When so many investors have lost large percentages of their paper wealth in the recent stock market debacle, the benefits of a tangible asset versus a stock portfolio snapshot is brought painfully home.

Forbes.comA recent Forbes article highlights some positive economic numbers, while also listing many ways to expand your purchasing power and “live the good life for less”.  Amid the money-saving shopping suggestions, relaxing alternatives to expensive trips to the spa, and online sources of in-demand products, fractional ownership is mentioned. After comparing the cost of vacationing to owning your own fractional property in a Private Residence Club, the article states that in the long run, Fractional Ownership is cheaper than renting. In addition, there is an implied profit in a long-term fractional investment.  Owners at Harborview Place experience the good life of Nantucket while only investing a "fraction".

Club Boats:
What could be more enjoyable and relaxing than maintenance-free and hassle-free boat ownership? Club boats – such as our new Boston Whaler 200 Dauntless-will be fueled and ready for residence club owners. When you return to your club, the staff takes care of all cleaning, refuelinghinckley boat and any other items that need attention, Use of club boats by residence club owners is scheduled through club management. Additionally, small sail boats and sea kayaks are available for all Harborview Place owners. And through our relationship with Barton & Gray mariners club, Harborview place Residence Club owners will be able to access on preferred terms the classic 36′ Hinckley Picnic Boat.

Sun ENERGY EFFICIENCY
By selecting energy efficient appliances light fixtures and mechanical equipment, Harborview’s monthly operating costs will be lower than conventional models.
