T. Mitchell WilleyPrincipal & Lead Developer

Mitch boasts a 20 year career as a successful international attorney, is the founder and CEO of luxury home rental company Time & Place Homes and is the owner of the Clifton Inn, an acclaimed Relais & Chateaux hotel outside Charlottesville, Virginia. In addition, he has personally restored more than 20 iconic residences, always with a dedication to preserving history while interweaving modern luxuries.  These homes have ranged from the Lily Pond Estate on Nantucket to Twin Palms in Palm springs which was once owned by Frank Sinatra and from a 16th century Paris penthouse to an 1802 Italianate mansion in Old Town Alexandria listed on the National Historic Registry. Mr. Willey graduated with honors from Wesleyan University where he was a Davenport Scholar and was awarded the Thorndike Prize for Scholarship. He holds his Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration from the University of Virginia where he was President of the Student Legal Form and was a member of the Raven Society.

DCP International (“DCP”) is the leader in the design, marketing and sale of member-owned clubs in prestigious resort and urban locations with combined club sales of more than $700 million to date and another $1.5 billion in projected sales from its current projects.  Having formed the industry’s first private residence club with the Deer Valley Club in Park City, Utah, DCP has participated in approximately 35 successful projects ranging from Bermuda and Santa Fe to Vero Beach and Florence, Italy. Based outside Chicago, DCP also has offices in Park City, Dallas, London and Florence. In addition to the company’s expertise in marketing and sales, it is the leading provider of hospitality management services to private residence clubs and also facilitates vacation exchanges between owners of luxury fractionals via The Elite Alliance.

Scott SimmonsPrincipal

Scott is a private investor and consultant to leading luxury travel companies including destination clubs, private residence clubs, tour operators and others.  Previously, he was the managing director of Andrew Harper Travel, publisher of the industry leading Hideaway Report, and served for five years on the executive committee of Abercrombie & Kent. Prior to entering the high end travel industry, Scott was a successful mergers and acquisitions adviser for the private British investment bank, Cazenove & Co. He is a graduate of investment bank, Cazenove & Co. He is a Graduate of Dartmouth College, holds an MBA from New York University and has attended the executive education program at Cornell University’s graduate hotel school.

Workshop/APDArchitecture & Design

Founded in 1999, Workshop/APD is a leading design firm with offices in New York and Nantucket.  Among its many awards and accolades, workshop received first place in the Sustainable Design Competition for New Orleans sponsored by Global Green USA and actor/ activist, Brad Pitt. The firm was also recently featured in New York Home magazine’s issue “50 names you should know in New York design”. Workshop co- founder, Andrew Kotchen, has extensive ground-up construction and adaptive re-use project experience on Nantucket and has collaborated previously with Harborview principal, Mitch Willey, on a range of successful iconic renovation projects located in Palm Springs, Charlottesville, Paris and Nantucket.
